Fallen Comrades
Fallen Comrades VFW Post 6073 is located across from the Veterans Fairgrounds at 1616 Heroes Drive in Scottsboro, Alabama. We received our Charter in 1946 and are named in honor of our Fallen Comrades.

Our Post and Auxiliary membership meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30.  A light meal social is held prior to each meeting at 5:30.

VFW Post 6073 Participates In 3rd Annual National Day of Service: Building Bridges, Saving Lives

 The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6073 in Scottsboro, Alabama, is proud to announce its participation in the VFW National Day of Service on May 3- 4, 2024. This day is dedicated to honoring our veterans, supporting our community, and making a positive impact.

On Friday, May 3, 2024, Veterans Helping Veterans (VHV) will build a wheelchair ramp for a deserving veteran in need. VHV has been making mobility modifications to veterans and their family members’ homes since 2017. This project exemplifies our commitment to improving the lives of those who have served our country. If you are a veteran interested in volunteering for this project, contact VFW Post 6073 at 256-259-6161.

On Saturday, May 4, 2024, VFW Post 6073 will host a blood drive in partnership with ​Lifesouth. The community is encouraged to come out and support this life-saving initiative. The blood drive will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1616 Heroes Drive in Scottsboro.​ Learn more at www.lifesouth.org.
